Virginia fugitive caught in Schoharie

A 31-year-old man has been arrested following a traffic stop in Schoharie for being a fugitive from Virginia.

Robert Hicks Jr. was operating an unregistered vehicle on state Route 7 near Central Bridge when Troopers stopped him Thursday night.

They discovered during the stop that Hicks is wanted in Virginia for felony offenses.
