Warren County Health Services has a warning for residents. They’re asking you to take precautions to avoid tick bites.

The department has already seen dozens of tick-borne disease cases so far this spring.

Health officials plan to hold the first of several events on Thursday, May 5. They will hand out free tick removal kits and educational materials about tick bite prevention.

These events will be held at Cole’s Woods in Glens Falls and Rush Pond Trail in Queensbury.
