Warren County’s health department made a correction Friday on the death of a Queensbury teen from COVID-19 last week.

In the initial release, the county said it was not aware that the 18-year-old had comorbidities.

Now the county says he did have conditions that put him at more risk of severe illness.

As NewsChannel 13 reported last week, Adam Sweeney’s death brought an outpouring of support from the Queensbury community.

Those who knew him described him as a bright, witty and charismatic young man with a great sense of humor, who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
