NewsChannel 13 salutes Navy WAVES RD3 Anna Kipp Brookes of Union City, N.J., with family in Clifton Park.
The wife and mother of five served from 1944 to 1946 at the Naval Communications Center in Washington, D.C.
She later worked as an executive for the Girl Scouts of America.
She passed away in 2019 at age 95.
