NewsChannel 13 salutes brothers David, Frank, and Homer LaVoie. The family has connections to both Tupper Lake and the Capital Region

David was a Private and Tech Sgt. in the Army who served in the European Theater Operation and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Frank was a Seaman in the Navy who served in the Atlantic and Pacific.

Homer, who is still living, served in the Navy from 1951 to 1955, and supplied the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean with ammunition and other supplies.
