NewsChannel 13 salutes U.S. Navy PFC George Alexander DeGonzague from Albany.
The husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather joined the Navy at 17, and served in the South Pacific during World War II.
He was awarded several medals.
He passed away in 2017 at age 91.
