NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Technical Sergeant Harold Gillespie of Troy.
The husband, father, and grandfather served in the Aleutian Islands during World War II, and received the Good Conduct Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.
He later owned and operated a grocery store, and worked in maintenance at Catholic Central High School.
