We Salute You: John McNellis

NewsChannel 13 salutes U.S. Army Air Corp Staff Sergeant John McNellis of Johnson City and Altamont.
He enlisted the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and received the Distinguished Flying Cross for the capture of an enemy when they sank a German submarine.
He was also a radio operator and tail gunner.
