NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Air Forces Master Sergeant John Nellis of Rochester and Latham.
He was a crew chief and head of maintenance on a B-24 bomber during WWII.
His four-year enlistment includes 18 months in England.
He later worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
He passed away in 1984.
