NewsChannel 13 salutes Navy Motor Machinist’s Mate First Class John Potanovic of Yonkers. His nephew lives in Princetown.
He served during World War II on the USS Archerfish.
After the war, he married, raised a family, and rose to Captain of the Yonkers Police Department.
He turns 96 in March!
