NewsChannel 13 salutes Army PFC Joe Harrington of Johnstown and Rotterdam.
He served in World War II. After being wounded in North Africa, he became a hand-to-hand combat instructor at Fort Benning, Georgia.
He later worked for the Watervliet Arsenal.
He passed away in 1997.
