NewsChannel 13 salutes Army National Guard SFC Nicholas Deso of Guilderland.
He served as a medic from 1997 to 2017, including time in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
He also received a Combat Medic Badge.
