Whitehall School district gets $25k grant from Dollar General

Whitehall School District is receiving $25,000 from Dollar General.
It’s part of the company’s "Beyond Words" grant.
In August 2020, buildings in the school district sustained heavy damage from a storm.
Grants are given to public school libraries damaged by a natural disaster.
The high school had about seven inches of rainwater, leading to a massive backup of water and sewer waste into the building.
The school had to be closed for months.
