Back To School: New York’s Capital Region

Mostly cloudy and breezy tonight with overnight lows in the teens.

It will remain blustery and cold on Wednesday with wind chills in the single digits and teens. Passing lake effect snow showers linger as well with a mix of sun and clouds. We will see more sun and less wind on Thursday with highs in the upper 20s, and a pleasant day on Friday as temperatures climb into the mid 30s. A disturbance will head our way on Saturday with increasing clouds. There is a chance of rain and snow showers in the afternoon and into the night as we reach into the mid 30s. As temperatures fall back below freezing, there is a chance of mainly snow on Saturday night.

An intensifying storm off the East Coast will bring the chance of snow showers on Sunday before Arctic air moves back in for the beginning of next week.

Have a great evening!
