A Pittsfield man has been arrested on child pornography charges for the second time after a tip from Google.

Robert Whipple Jr., 54, is accused of accessing, viewing, and sharing at least two videos depicting child pornography.

NewsChannel 13’s partners at the Berkshire Eagle report Google alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a user who was uploading child pornography to Google Photo. The tip was passed onto police, who tracked the IP address to Whipple.

In 2011, he pleaded guilty to having hundreds of vodeo and images of children in sexual conduct.
