Albany Firebirds and Minnesota Myth Week 3 matchup is canceled
The Albany Firebirds Week 3 game against the Minnesota myth that was rescheduled to Monday night at MVP Arena has been canceled. The Firebirds shared the announcement in a press release Saturday evening.
According to the release, the Myth were not able to make the trip. The team says ticketholders will be refunded. This comes as issues continue to arise throughout the Arena Football League, including three teams that have folded within the last two weeks.
The Firebirds are scheduled to host the Philadelphia Soul on May 19. However, that team announced a pause on their 2024 season Friday.
