It’s that’s time of the year when we begin our long-standing tradition of selecting the NewsChannel 13 Rensselaer Honda High School Basketball All-Star teams. Top 10 boys on Wednesday and the top 10 girls picks on Thursdays. It’s always a prestigious honor to be chosen number one by the team of all-star scouts.
This year’s top pick on the boys side is Peyton Smith from Hudson Falls. The 6-foot, 9-inch senior center is having a dominating season for the Tigers. Smith averages 28 points per game to go along with 13 rebounds and four assists. He’s a double-double machine.
Smith was a unanimous number one pick.
