Cooper scores 25 in UAlbany win over UMBC

The UAlbany Great Danes powered back from being down most of the first half for the 61-53 win over AmericaEast foe UMBC. Kayla Coopers off the bench had the game-high, and Helene Haegerstrand scored 16 for UA, who play next at UMass Lowell on Saturday.

The Great Danes are now 3-0 in conference play.
