Hugely successful college basketball coach with Capital Region ties retiring

The winningest coach in college basketball history has announced her retirement.
Tara VanDerveer has Capital Region roots, growing up in Schenectady and going to UAlbany.
She finishes her career with more than 1,200 wins.
VanDerveer, 70, led Stanford to three national championships in her 38 seasons, and was named the National Coach of the Year five times.
