Local MLB draft pick gives Gatorade POY donation to Troy CYO

After being selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates earlier this week, Troy native Mike Kennedy used his New York State Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year donation to help the Troy CYO. Kennedy took part in the CYO opportunities while growing up, and said it was an honor to give back to an organization that gave so much to him.

The Troy native and 2022 New York State Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year gave $1,000 donation to the organization he benefitted from as a kid.
