NY state landmarks to mark one year before Ryder Cup
New York state is already counting down the days to next year’s Ryder Cup.
The state has announced it will light up bridges and landmarks across the state Tuesday to mark the year-out celebration.
The Ryder Cup is a golf competition that takes place every two years between European and United States teams.
The 45th Ryder Cup is set to take place at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale on Long Island next September.
You may see Empire State Plaza, the State Education Building, and the Albany International Airport Gateway lit up in red, white and blue.
Those are just some of several spots being illuminated across the state for the special occasion.
