Olympian with Capital Region ties returning to ski racing after injury

An Olympian with Capital Region ties is set to return to ski racing next week.
Mikaela Shiffrin, 29, will return to the Alpine Ski World Cup on Jan. 30.
Shiffrin is a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
She had been sidelined since November after falling and getting hurt during a race in Killington, Vermont.
Shiffrin is in search of her 100th World Cup win.
She plans on competing in her fourth Olympics next year.
