Special Olympics New York State coming to Warren, Saratoga counties

The 2023 Special Olympics New York State Fall Games will take place in Warren and Saratoga counties this week.

Officials are moving Friday’s opening ceremony location due to weather concerns.

It will now take place at Queensbury High School at 7:30 p.m.

About 800 athletes and coaches from throughout New York will participate in opening ceremonies.

Competitions start Saturday and will take place in Glens Falls, Queensbury, Saratoga Springs and Porter Corners.
