FIRST ON 13: UAlbany head coach Greg Gattuso to sign two-year contract extension

After a championship season, UAlbany head coach Greg Gattuso is rewarded for it.

Gattuso will sign a two-year extension to his contract.

Gattuso, who has been at UAlbany for 10 years, has one year left on his current deal. This will keep Gattuso locked in through the 2026 season.

UAlbany won the school’s first ever Coastal Athletic Association championship and went all the way
to FCS National Semifinals before losing to eventual national champion South Dakota State.

The Great Danes finished the season 11-4 overall and 7-1 in the CAA.
