UAlbany wins first America East championship since 2012

The UAlbany women’s lacrosse team won its first America East championship since 2012 on Sunday, 14-13 over Binghamton at John Fallon Field. Shonly Wallace and Sarah Falk led the Great Danes with 5 goals apiece. Junior Katie Pascale was named Tournament MVP after a 12 point performance in the semifinals. She had an assist in Sunday’s win over the Bearcats. UAlbany will learn its NCAA Tournament fate during the selection show on Sunday at 9pm. See highlights and reaction here.
