Vermont prevails over UAlbany in defensive battle for America East championship

The Vermont women’s basketball team prevailed over UAlbany in what was a defensive battle in the America East championship game 38-36. It is the lowest scoring championship game in conference history. The Great Danes are not done yet though. Head coach Colleen Mullen says her team will participate in the WNIT.
