Will Brown introduced as new women’s basketball coach at Saint Rose

Former UAlbany men’s basketball coach and Patroons coach Will Brown was introduced as the next women’s basketball coach at the College of Saint Rose on Friday afternoon. It’s a return home for Brown who first job out of college was as an assistant for men’s coach Brian Beaury in the 90’s where he helped lead the Golden Knights to Elite 8 and Final Four appearances. After that Brown spent 20 years as the head coach of the Great Danes, leading them to five NCAA Tournament appearances. He takes over for Whitney Edwards who left to be an assistant at Northeastern.
