Air National Guard unit from Scotia receives prestigious honor
The New York Air National Guard's 139th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron in Scotia was named the Best in the Air National Guard for 2024 - out of the branch's nine aeromedical evacuation squadrons.
The New York Air National Guard’s 139th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron in Scotia was named the Best in the Air National Guard for 2024 – out of the branch’s nine aeromedical evacuation squadrons.
The 139th is part of the unit based at the Stratton Air Base in Scotia.
It was selected for the award based on its accomplishments last year.
It’s the second time the squadron has won the award.
