Albany County collecting school supplies
Albany County is collecting various school supplies and they can be dropped off at the county building on State Street or Shaker Place.
Albany County’s 21st annual back to School Supply Drive is underway.
The county is collecting the supplies for families served by the Albany County Department of Children, Youth and Families.
Organizers are looking for notebooks, backpacks, pencils, crayons, pens, paper, folders and boxes of tissues.
Drop-off locations are at the Albany County Office Building at 112 State St. and Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at 100 Heritage Lane.
The donation deadline is Sept. 3.
