Albany City Criminal Court will be temporarily be relocated on Monday to different facilities for about two weeks, so mold can be removed from the building.

The city of Albany’s Department of Engineering and the New York State Office of Court Administration have been working to develop a mold remediation plan for the current courthouse at 1 Morton Ave.

During this period, arraignments will be conducted at Albany County Family Court at 30 Clinton Ave. Albany City Criminal Court operations are being relocated to the Albany County Judicial Center at 6 Lodge St.

People with upcoming appearances will be notified by both email and phone of location and other changes.
