Albany gearing up for annual Tulip Festival

Albany’s Tulip Festival returns next month.

The 76th annual event will take place Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12 in Washington Park.

Things will kick off Friday, May 10, with the street scrubbing.

The Tulip Queen ceremony will be held on Saturday, followed by musical performances all afternoon.

There will be more live music on Sunday, along with the “Best Mom” ceremony.
