Albany International Airport gets 10.6 million for upgrades

Albany International Airport has received $10.6 million in funding for rehabilitation and infrastructure improvements.

U.S. Sen. Majority Leader Charles Schumer and U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand on Wednesday announced the funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The money will be used for upgrades to Terminal A including expanding holding room capacity, adding two new passenger boarding bridges and improving the HVAC and electrical system.
