The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is looking for new volunteer docents and volunteer educators. Docents are the greeters that welcome visitors to the Discovery Center, an interpretive center located at 195 New Karner Road. They are informal educators that assist visitors by answering questions and providing orientation.

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is looking for new volunteer docents and volunteer educators.

Docents are the greeters that welcome visitors to the Discovery Center, an interpretive center located at 195 New Karner Road. They are informal educators that assist visitors by answering questions and providing orientation.

Educators lead Pine Bush-centered programs for a wide variety of audiences including schools, general public and special interest groups.  

Experience as an educator or with public speaking is helpful but not required. All necessary training for both positions will be provided. To learn more or to schedule an interview, email volunteer@albanypinebush.org.
