Albany Symphony and Empire State Youth Orchestra are teaming up for a free, family-friendly event called Symphony Side-By-Side.

High school and college students across the Capital Region will rehearse with the Albany Symphony to bring you a performance at the MVP Arena in downtown Albany.

The music will range from the scores of film, TV and video games to beloved classic symphonies. It will also give these students the experience working with a professional, Grammy-winning symphony orchestra.

Symphony Side-By-Side is on Oct. 14 at 3 p.m.
