New York state is investing $484 million to make bridge repairs in communities across the state, including here in Albany.
This money comes from the state’s Bridge NY initiative, with support from the Federal Bridge Formula Program.
A total of $4.75 million from this investment will be used for a structure replacement project on the South Albany Road Bridge over Onesquethaw Creek.
The money will fund 216 projects like this across the state.
