Amsterdam crash sends victim to hospital

A person was flown to the hospital after a car accident in Amsterdam on Sunday.

The victim is expected to survive.

It happened at Truax Road and State Route 5 just after noon on Sunday.

Trains nearby were delayed during cleanup, according to the sheriff.
The fire department helped pull the victim out.

No tickets were handed out.
