Rose has pleaded not guilty to murder and carrying a firearm without a license.

It’s not clear what records Smith is hoping to pull. However, he has previously filed a motion seeking access to the police department’s computer system.

The defense and prosecution are meeting for a pretrial hearing next month, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle reported.
