Ballston Spa man pleads guilty in child sex sting

A Ballston Spa man has admitted to arranging a meeting with someone who he thought was a 12-year-old girl for sex.

Thomas A. Belisario, 41, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Tuesday to attempted criminal sex act.

Belisario was arrested last October after he was corresponding online with a person who actually was a State Police investigator. He was arrested when he met up at a location in Halfmoon.

Belisario is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 15.
