A local family-owned business that specializes in repurposing furniture and cabinetry is working to bridge the gap between demand and budget for Capital Region homeowners.

FunCycled is a Wynantskill business that started as a flipping company in 2021 and added kitchen cabinet painting and interior design services a few years later.

FunCycled has focused on doing kitchen “facelifts” over the past year by painting the cabinets, altering the islands, adding new counters, floating shelves, adding backsplashes and installing new hardware.

The facelift projects usually cost less than $20,000, which can be a big savings compared to a full kitchen remodel.
