An upcoming conference will prepare the people of Hudson for a natural disaster.

The Crisis Readiness and Disaster Preparedness Conference is set to bring together leaders in the field, as well as regular citizens, to discuss solutions for natural or man-made emergency response.

It is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Greenport at The Falls, 158 Union Turnpike Hudson, NY.

Discussions will cover topics including disaster risk reduction, crisis communication, and the role of technology in emergency response.
