Cyclists in Albany bike to work to observe national day

People gathered on Whitehall Road in Albany and took off to their places of employment for “National Bike to Work Day.”

The day started at the Albany Jewish Community Center. Everyone then biked about 2.7 miles to Mr. Bumbles Cafe on New Scotland Avenue for coffee. Then they headed to work.

“National Bike to Work Day” started in 1956 to promote the health benefits of cycling.
