That’s the animal sanctuary in Valatie.
There are more than 80 equines on the property. They are horses rescued from abuse and slaughter as well as retired U.S. Army caisson horses.
The non-profit’s 23rd annual gala is this Saturday at the farm and P.S 21: The outdoor concert in Chatham is where Love will perform.
The money raised from the gala helps support the rescue efforts and care given to these horses.
