Wednesday was the last day to put in a bid to tear down one of Albany’s biggest eyesores, the old Central Warehouse.

The original deadline was November 27, but due to the high amount of bidders, lawmakers said they felt the need to extend the bidding window.

Bidders have been told they have a max of $13 million available.

Officials are hoping to bring down the warehouse sometime next spring
