The Barbara School of Dance is celebrating its 49^th year with an expansion.

The studio has five separate dance spaces, including space on Kenwood Avenue in Delmar, after outgrowing three other spaces since it opened.

The school has more than a dozen instructors and its largest enrollment in its history. It offers youth and adult classes ranging from ballet to hip hop and everything in between. The school is also a place for birthday parties, toddler time parties and summer programs.

There are also classes for music theater, Zumba, strength training and yoga.
