Bicyclists are some of the most vulnerable on the roads, the DMV said. The agency has some safety tips – like riding with traffic, not against it, and always wearing a helmet.
Wednesday, May 8 is Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day, so drivers should be especially alert that day for kids riding their bikes to and from school.
