Man charged in February Albany robbery

A man is charged in connection to an Albany robbery from February.

Jaisean Perez, 21, and two other people hit a man in the face with a gun, then stole cash and other items.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Feb. 4 near Colonie and Lark streets.

The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center for a mouth injury.

Police then saw Perez leaving a home on Walter Street Wednesday and arrested him.

Another man, Nah’kim Turner, was also found with Perez. He had an illegal gun, police said.

Both were arrested after a brief foot chase.

Perez was charged with robbery and sent to Albany County Jail.

Turner was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and released.
