EPA working with several Capital Region communities to replace lead pipes
We're learning more about a federal effort to get the lead out of drinking water across New York state. The village of Catskill is partnering with the Environmental Protection Agency to replace all lead pipes. Now the agency says it is also working with Amsterdam, Fonda and Scotia to make sure everyone has access to clean water.
There's also an effort in Troy to replace lead pipes.

The Environmental Protection Agency is working with several Capital Region communities to get the lead out of drinking water across New York state.
The village of Catskill is partnering the EPA to replace all lead pipes. Now the agency said it is also working with Amsterdam, Fonda and Scotia to make sure everyone has access to clean water.
There’s also an effort in Troy to replace lead pipes.
The EPA is giving New York state more than $115 million for infrastructure upgrades.
