A family from Saratoga County is thankful they’re able to pay forward the kindness extended to them during the worst time in their lives.

We all remember the terrifying story of the little girl who was kidnapped from Moreau Lake State Park in 2023.

Not long after she was rescued and her abductor arrested, Kelly’s Angels, the charity that brings smiles to faces of area children, contacted her family. Kelly’s Angels wanted to send them on an expenses-paid stay at the Six Flags Waterpark.

When NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland reached out to make the offer, Trisha Sena, the little girl’s mom, was grateful, but wanted Mark to instead offer it to the young daughter of the man who kidnapped their daughter.

“I want to be a good example to my children. I felt heartbroken for her, too,” said Sena, the little girl’s mom. “I’m just sure it was difficult for her and she’s a kid and she didn’t ask for this nor does she deserve it. And I wanted to extend your kindness to her to show that we were thinking of her.”
