A new Stewart’s could be coming to Central Avenue in Colonie.

Stewart’s Shops bought the former home of Grandma’s Pies & Restaurant, according to Albany County records. The restaurant closed for good in 2020.

Stewart’s applied last February to turn the property into a gas station and convenience store.

The site plan still needs final approval from town officials, according to the Albany Business Review.
