Free fishing for all in New York state on Saturday

You can fish for free across New York state on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Both New Yorkers, and those out of state who are 16 and older can fish without a freshwater fishing license. Kids under 16 can always fish for free.

There will be one more Free Fishing Day this year coming up on Veterans Day in November.
